Harness Check

It is often ignored that the harness is piece of equipment that wears out over time. Over time, weak points and signs of wear can develop, sometimes even invisible at first glance. With regular and careful inspections, such issues can be detected and resolved early. This significantly contributes to flight safety. Manufacturers provide different recommendations regarding how often a harness should be checked. We are happy to advise you individually, depending on the harness model and type, age, and number of flights.

Quality and Safety: We inspect your harness visually, including the main strap system, carabiners, buckles, protector, stitching, connections, reserve release system, pins, and accelerator system. For this, your harness is hung on a harness stand and weighted into its optimal flying position. This approach allows us to reliably detect wear, hidden damage, or material fatigue.

Harness Adjustments: Harness setup is also a crucial factor in the air. We are happy to help with the individual and optimal adjustment of your harness. In our atelier, we place your harness in a harness stand, where flight situations can be replicated and adjustments made accordingly.

After completing the harness check, we issue an inspection report confirming the airworthiness of the equipment and provide you with all detailed data. Any material defects are discussed with you.
